SUP Taster Lesson
SUP taster lesson instructed by one of our qualified and highly experienced instructors. Groups will be no more than 8 people – we believe in keeping things small so that you get the most out of your lesson.
Your instructor will set you up with a buoyancy aid (and a wetsuit if you choose to rent one). They will give you a quick safety brief and explain the basics of SUP boarding, then its time to get on the water! Your instructor will guide you through the basic paddling strokes, first kneeling and then standing. Taster lessons are suitable for anyone at the beginning of their SUP journey whether you are a complete newbie or just want to improve on your basic skills. Your instructor will be sure to cater the lesson to your individual abilities.
There will be plenty of opportunity for fun and games throughout the lesson!
Worried about getting wet? The only part of you that is guaranteed to get wet is your feet! Lots of new SUP boarders successfully make it to the end of the their lesson without falling in! Our extra wide boards are super stable and make standing up very achieveable for all ages and abilities!
We recommend that you wear appropriate footwear that you don’t mind getting wet and that won’t fall off (not flip-flops).

Important information
We highly recommend that children under 135cm accompany an adult on a board, no refund will be provided if a board is booked for the child and then they decided to go with an adult on the adults board.
Max combined user weight for SUP’s is 150kg.
Children must be 8 years of age or over to have their own board.
All participants must be able to swim and physically fit and healthy.
The time that is listed is the lesson start time, please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson or earlier if you wish to hire a wetsuit.
Dogs are not permitted on any of our craft.
