Archery
30 minutes session. Possibly one of the oldest sports skills still practiced, Archery has stood the test of time as a timeless art form.
Probably first used in the Stone Age (20,000 BC), however the first recorded use was by the ancient Egyptians. The long bow however, which our bows today are based on, were first developed in Wales, so what an ideal place to learn the ancient skill of archery.
Our skilled instructors will give you tuition on how to use a bow safely and correctly and then coach you to improve your shot. We have a selection of bows with different ‘weights’ to suit all levels of ability. We can organise skills games and competitions to keep the excitement going if you choose to bring some friends for a shared activity.
Important information
Children must be 8 years of age or over.
All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult onsite.
All participants must be physically fit and healthy.
The time that is listed is the hire start time, please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson or earlier.
