Bush Craft
You don’t need to be a TV celebrity to become accomplished in outdoor activities like bush craft.
In our Bush Craft sessions we can teach you how and where to find the best source of ignition and then the best place to collect the fuel for the heart of your fire. With careful coaching you will try several methods of starting a fire, to discover what suits you the best. Then you are just a few strikes away from making yourself a hot drink or snack.
We can also look at different cooking techniques, maybe a Hobo Stove, Gillie Kettle or even a medieval skillet. Anyway, once your fire is going we will use one or the other cooking techniques to either make a hot drink or cook a simple meal, a nice treat for your hard work. On longer courses we can introduce you to simple bush craft equipment for shelter building and sleeping systems.
Bush Craft sessions are 60 minutes each in duration. Sessions you can choose from include:
- Fire Starting
- Different Fire Containment Equipment & Use
- Basic Bush Craft Cooking
- Shelter Building (Tarp Shelters)
- Shelter Building (Natural Shelters)
Important information
Children must be 8 years of age or over.
All children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult onsite.
All participants must be physically fit and healthy.
The time that is listed is the hire start time, please arrive 15 minutes before your lesson or earlier.
A minimum of 4 people booked on is needed before a session is able to run.
